Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium)

Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) is an abundant native scrub that is found throughout New Zealand. It is otherwise known as New Zealand tea-tree and is well known for its medicinal anti-bacterial qualities. Its small white flowers bloom during spring and summer with the peak flowering season lasting from November to January.
