Honey is complex and lends subtle flavour notes to dishes. Not only is it great to cook with, honey is also wonderful drizzled over cheeses, ice creams and perfectly ripe, seasonal fruit.
Honey goes perfectly with:
Almonds, Butter, Cardamom, Chicken, Cheese, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Citrus, Cloves, Cream, Dried Fruit, Fennel, Fruit,
Ginger, Lavender, Nuts, Pork, Soy Sauce, Witlof.
Heat destroys some of the quality of honey, so it is better to use NZ Artisan Honeys in uncooked foods in which you can taste the unique difference.  
Honey has a natural affinity with dairy products. As well as putting it on your breakfast yoghurt, do as the Italians do and drizzle your selected honey over specialty cheese as the ultimate sweet and salty end to your meal.
